Un reconocimiento que consolida el fenómeno Wicked

La temporada de premios 2026 todavía no empezó formalmente, pero Wicked: For Good ya marca el ritmo. La superproducción de Universal Pictures obtuvo siete nominaciones en la 31° edición de los Critics Choice Awards, colocándose entre los títulos más fuertes del año y confirmando que la adaptación cinematográfica del musical sigue siendo un fenómeno cultural inagotable.

Entre las menciones más destacadas se encuentra la candidatura a Mejor Película, donde comparte categoría con producciones aclamadas como Hamnet, Bugonia y Frankenstein. Es un logro notable para una película musical —un género que rara vez lidera las nominaciones de premios generalistas— y que demuestra el impacto que la historia de Oz sigue generando en la pantalla grande.

Ariana Grande y el equipo creativo, también nominados

Ariana Grande recibe una nominación a Mejor Actriz de Reparto, celebrada por su trabajo como Glinda en esta segunda parte. Su performance fue especialmente elogiada por la crítica por aportar capas nuevas al personaje, combinando vulnerabilidad emocional, potencia vocal y una presencia cinematográfica que expande lo hecho en Broadway.

El equipo creativo también obtuvo reconocimiento en categorías técnicas:

• Nathan Crowley y Lee Sandales fueron nominados por Mejor Diseño de Producción.
