Nominaciones a los Premios Tony 2026: The Lost Boys y Schmigadoon! Lideran

Broadway ya vive uno de sus días más importantes del año: se dieron a conocer las nominaciones a los Premios Tony 2026, reveladas por Uzo Aduba y Darren Criss.

Entre los títulos más destacados, The Lost Boys y Schmigadoon! se posicionan como los grandes favoritos de la temporada, con 12 nominaciones cada uno, incluyendo Mejor Musical.

Premios Tony 2026: Los grandes protagonistas de la temporada

Además de los líderes, Ragtime, en su nueva producción del Lincoln Center Theater, obtuvo 11 nominaciones, consolidándose como otro de los títulos fuertes del año.

En el terreno de las obras, la nueva versión de Death of a Salesman encabeza con nueve nominaciones, igualando a otros revivals destacados como Cats: The Jellicle Ball y The Rocky Horror Show.

En la categoría de Mejor Musical competirán también títulos como Titaníque y Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York), reflejando una temporada diversa tanto en propuestas originales como en relecturas.

Por su parte, en Mejor Obra se destacan producciones como The Balusters, Giant, Liberation y Little Bear Ridge Road.

Una ceremonia con grandes figuras

Los ganadores se conocerán el próximo 7 de junio en el Radio City Music Hall, en una ceremonia que será transmitida en vivo por CBS y también vía streaming en Paramount+ para suscriptores premium.

La gala contará con la conducción de la cantante Pink, en una noche que, como es habitual, combinará premios con presentaciones en vivo de los espectáculos nominados.

Broadway se prepara para su gran noche

Los Premios Tony 2026 vuelven a posicionarse como el evento más importante del teatro a nivel mundial, celebrando lo mejor de la temporada de Broadway.

Con una fuerte presencia de nuevos musicales, revivals y propuestas innovadoras, la edición número 79 promete una competencia reñida y una ceremonia cargada de momentos destacados que marcarán el pulso del teatro musical en el mundo… y que, como cada año, también resuena con fuerza en el público argentino.
